The Kırşehir Planetarium and its “Cultural Park” integrates itself in the historical and cultural values of city centre and aims to create multiple sub-centres to ensure maximum interaction with its surrounding. The building stands alone in the middle of its area, creating a centre. The planetarium, in the symbolic shape of a sphere comes perturbating the space, reshaping the ground and reflecting the surrounding. The rest of the program places itself calmly all around this object, staring at it. On the green roof, an aimless “promenade” offers a view on the surrounding. As satellites, in the park around, smalls hubs offer different activities for all kind of public.
