The city of İnegöl is planning of moving the existing City Hall to an area in expansion. On the place of a demolished hospital, near an iconic plaza and the biggest park of the city, the new City Hall aims to integrate itself and symbolise the whole city. One facade face the boulevard and assure its continuity and scale. Long of more than 100 m some movements in the façade breaks the monotony and reflect the variety of buildings around it. It offers, in addition, a consequent porosity that allows anyone to enter the grounds. A “Culture Street” in the middle of the area guides the users to the City Hall in one side and to the restaurants, coffees, multipurpose room and kindergarten in the other side. It also hosts cultural temporary events. The city hall breaks in various patios that offer different ambiances and sceneries. At the backside of the Restaurants a park assure the green continuity of the close by park and offer a nice “promenade” to the public. The projects aim to leave enough place for the city users to appropriate they own space and inhabit it at any time of day and night.
